Original Owner Warranty
Locked Components will at its sole discretion replace any Locked Components products that fails due to manufacturing or material defects within the time periods detailed below.

Any components not produced by Locked Components bear their own manufacturer's warranty. Any claims on these components should be directed to the manufacturer's service department.

Product finishes applied by Locked Components carry a 1 year warranty against manufacturing defects in materials or workmanship. Damage caused by normal use or handling (dents, scratches, abrasions) are not considered defects.

Limitations to warranty and Liability
Proof of purchase via Locked Components or an approved dealer is required together with completion of the warranty registration sheet (within 30 days of receipt of product) to qualify for warranty. Failure to return the warranty sheet voids warranty and any warranty will then be applied based on the discretion of Locked Components.

Carriage charges to or from Locked Components warehouse or factory will be the responsibility of the original purchaser. This standard warranty does not cover normal wear and tear and normal maintenance items. In addition the warranty does not cover any damage, failure, or loss caused by accident, improper use or assembly, neglect or improper maintenance.

The warranties detailed are in lieu of and exclude all other warranties not detailed herein, whether express or implied by operation of law or otherwise. This includes but is not limited to any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Locked Components (and its subsidiary companies) liability under this warranty is expressly limited to the replacement of the non-compliant Locked Component products and under no circumstances will Locked Components be liable for incidental or consequential losses, damages or expenses (including but without limitation damage to property or other economic losses) whether under this warranty or in contract or negligence or otherwise. This refund/warranty policy is void if the product has any modifications or damage from crash damage or crank strikes.

Standard warranty
Warranty coverage on Locked Components covers the original owner for the period stated at time of purchase usually 2 or 3 years (check website at time or purchase) for a manufacturers defect warranty from the date of purchase for the original purchaser only. If the product is deemed defective Locked Components will replace the product.

How to make a Warranty Claim on receipt of your product?
Defective or damaged products must in the first instance (within 7 days of receipt of the product) be reported to Locked Components at the following email: warranty@lockedcomponents.com stating clearly the damage and also with pictures showing the extend of the defect or damage.

How to make a Warranty Claim within the warranty period?
Contact your nearest Locked Components authorised dealer or alternatively contact us directly at: Email: warranty@lockedcomponents.com with details of your claim. Please remember that this warranty is personal to you and only applies to the original purchaser and cannot be assigned and that proof of purchase and completion of our warranty registration card is required.

Warranty return period
After we have been notified of your warranty claim by email, we request the product is returned for inspection. We will send a return shipping label or once cleared to return by email you may return the product using a tracked postal or courier service. If the product is not returned to us within 45 days a notification of a warranty issue the product will be deemed outside of warranty and all product warranties voided.

Important - Warranty Registration
In order to be able to make a warranty claim you will need to register your purchase within 30 days of receipt, if you have not done this within this period please do not contact us with a warranty claim as we will be unable to process the request.
